<p><strong>Description:</strong> Our modern yurts are built with a clear southern yellow pine and come with 4 large opening vinyl windows with screens. There are 28 rafters, and the walls are 7 feet high. The roof and walls are sewn from a natural marine duck 12 oz. cotton canvas. The clear acrylic skylight dome can be raised and lowered from the ground, thus allowing the yurt to be cooler in the summertime. We have many custom options to appeal to the modern yurt dweller, you!

15 FOOT YURT FEATURES AND OPTIONS

*** Standard 7 foot walls
*** Lattice wall assembled using carriage bolts and locking nuts instead of rivets for ease of repair. It is possible to change out shorter bolts for longer bolts and create built-in wall hangers
*** Clear southern yellow pine. Grown and harvested and locally, much stronger than spruce pine
*** Dome can be raised and lowered from the ground of the yurt. Allows for ventillation during the warmer weather. Comes with dome opener
*** Cotton canvas. We prefer cotton to vinyl/ petroleum based products
*** Snow load cable ties
*** Wall tie down hardware is included
*** All hardware can be found at most local hardware stores. Repairs are easy and replacement parts are easy to find
*** Easy set up. It takes 2 people a few hours to set up a yurt on the ground. It takes 2 people less than a day to set up a yurt on a 15 ft. diameter deck
*** Affordable pricing, up to half the cost of other companies

*** We generally use a 12 0z. Sun forger marine duck canvas that is available in four naturally dyed colors: khaki, suntan, colorless (off white), and grey (light green),

*** Includes all hardware for opening and closing the dome
*** All wood parts are sanded, though they are not stained or painted
